State CME Requirements for Wisconsin
30 total hours every 2 years
✔ 30 AMA, AOA, and/or ACCME Category 1 Credits
CME Change for Upcoming Renewals: For the next two renewals for both MD and DO physicians, each license holder will be required to take two of the required 30 hours via a Board-approved course on responsible opioid prescription. Physicians who do not hold a U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration number to prescribe controlled substances are exempted under the rules.
