Evaluation reveals an irregular wound at the right cheek.
The wound is not deep but the wound edges are gaping.
Wound exploration does not reveal any foreign body such as tooth fragments.
Question:
What is the most appropriate management for this wound?

Irrigate the wound, then allow it to heal by secondary intention.
Irrigate, then suture the wound with 6.0 nonabsorbable material and prescribe amoxicillin/clavulanate
